Hmm, I'm experiencing a problem with this one - I'm only getting audio, with no accompanying vid. Did you do something different with this one vs. the last? That one worked fine for me, but this one is saying something about a missing compressor? :/

if either of you guys are willing to be a guinea pig, I'm trying to debug the problem.

apparently, the divx5 codec isn't standard with QT7. so I'm trying an older divx codec.

the new file is http://morganlogan.com/dropbox/soyoung_divx.mov

it's big, so you need to have DSL or you will be sad.

thanks for any help.

Molo, I've replied to you via my own LJ, which basically "friends" the entire S&H crowd. Hope you got it. Just to make sure we're covered, here's a copy of what I posted:

YESH!

Aw, this is fabulous, girl! Terrific synchronization, inherent editorializing, playing against theme, imaginative reinterpretation of some iconic images et al. Just wonderful. The video quality coes across first-rate, with the single exception of the last scene (taken from the tag to The Plague).

I use DivX Pro 5.2.1 with QuickTime 7.0.1 (Pro). Is there a newer version of the DivX codec that I should get to keep up with you? :-)

dang, this reply never showed up in my inbox, so I didn't know you'd done anything new with the file!

Molo, this is *splendid*. The timing is fabulous, you've wonderful clip choice and the song and spirit match so well. Plus, the film quality is absolutely stunning. Another great one, I hope you keep on keepin' on with these ;)

aw, thanks babe! I am trying to continue...I don't know what I'm doing, really, so that gets in my way sometimes. ;)

e.g., last night I tried for hours to replicate what I was seeing in my head and just kept failing.

but I'll keep at it. thanks for watching! (and for downloading such a honkin' file).

wonderful!

Hi,molo.

This is very first time to make a comment here, and English is not my mother tongue. So if I write a mess, please excuse me.

I was impressed your songvid.
The selection of music is great(Sinatra is nice!), and your vid editing is wonderful.
Every time I watch S&H, specially they tease each other happily, it makes me so happy and exactly makes me feel so young even though I'm not so old :-D
Well, S&H look each other, and are there with the other, that makes them feel so happy and young without doubt, and no doubt other person around them feel so young :-)

hey Gyo:

(your English is great.)

that is exactly what I was hoping people would see: that they make each other so young and happy, that they make us feel that way, too.

thank you for making your comment!
